So, just in case you obey, Allah will carry you a good reward, and in case you flip away, as you did convert away before, He will torment you by using a distressing torment.”
Wa yu’azzibal munaafiqeena walmunaafiqaati wal mushrikeena walmushrikaatiz zaaanneena billaahi zannas observed’; ‘alaihim daaa’iratus saw’i wa ghadibal laahu ‘alaihim wa la’anahum wa a’adda lahum jahannama wa saaa’ at maseeraa
48:24 وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا And it really is He who withheld their arms from you and your fingers from them inside [the world of] Makkah soon after He brought about you to beat them.
